Easter is less than four weeks away, so right about now is the time that I panic about baskets and what to fill them with. About an hour after that, I forget about them for 3.5 weeks, and then REALLY PANIC, as I have nothing prepped days before the Bunny hops into town. But, not this year. This year, I’ve pulled myself together and managed to buy baskets AND all of the filler items!

I’m a big believer in buying things the kids need, and making them into fun holiday gifts. You know, the stuff that you would have had to buy anyway… throw it in that basket! I do the same with stockings, birthdays, Valentine’s Day - any holiday that allows my kids to run over and hug me, even though they just opened a present that contained socks.

Check out how I filled the baskets below:

Even though Evy is literally getting socks in his Easter basket, he’ll be thrilled. There’s plenty of other small, fun items, that will keep him on a present high.
